ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Aqua Vees took to the water on Day three of the OUA Championship being held at Brock University and posted some more fast results. Emily Jones (Orangeville, Ont.), Mike Murray (Ajax, Ont.) and the women's 4-by-200-metre freestyle relay placed in the Top-16 in Saturday's events.

VOYAGEURS HANG IN TOUGH BUT LOSE TO #1 RAVENS 83-71...

SUDBURY, Ont. - The Laurentian Voyageurs took on the number one ranked Carleton Ravens, who looked to avoid their first multi-game losing streak since February, 2002. They would prevail in an intense, high paced victory by a score of 83-71. Leading the way for the Ravens was freshman Tyson Hinz who scored 21 points while grabbing 10 rebounds. Leading the Voyageurs was Georges Serresse who scored 21 points and grabbed four rebounds before fouling out. Manny Pasquale once again had a big second half where he scored all of his 17 points while grabbing five rebounds. .. Click here for more

SUDBURY, ONT - The Lady Vees took on the Carleton Ravens Saturday, February 6 at the Ben Avery Gym. They lost a well contested battle which saw opportunities go each way. Norma Jean Roberts of Burnaby, British Columbia finished with a team high 13 points and was able to grab three rebounds. SUDBURY  The Laurentian Voyageurs took to the court against the number 6 Ottawa Gee-Gees on February 5 and were narrowly defeated 83-78. Josh Gibson-Bascombe of Toronto dropped a game high 30 points for the visiting Gee-Gees. Manny Pasquale of Victoria scored 16 points for the Voyageurs and Georges Serresse of Sudbury, Ontario had 14 points in a losing cause. .. Click here for more

SUDBURY, Ont. - The Laurentian Lady Vees took on the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Friday, February 5 winning the game 75-60 in an exciting, high energized match. The Lady Vees were led by Hanmer, Ontario native Katie Goggins, who had 14 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. They also got a double-double from Darrah Bumstead, who had 13 points and 16 rebounds. The Gee-Gees got 18 points and 12 rebounds from Hannah Sunley-Paisle in a losing cause. .. Click here for more
