 Lisa Labrecque (Ouellet), Assistant Coach

Lisa Labrecque (Ouellet) brings a wealth of competitive experience to the team. A member of the Canadian National team at the 2004 World Cross-Country Championships and the Yokohama Ekiden, Lisa is also an elite middle distance runner, with a best time of 4:14 in the 1500m and 2:07 in the 800m.
While at the University of Michigan, Lisa was an All-America and NCAA Champion in the distance medley relay. A Big-Ten Champion in the Indoor 800m, she was also named to the All-Big Ten cross-country team. In cross-country she helped her Michigan squad to achieve three top-15 finishes in NCAA competition including a 7th place finish in 1997.
While coaching and training with Laurentian, Lisa works as an elementary school teacher with the Rainbow District School Board.
