WSKI | Voyageurs Compete at OUA Championships, Finish 7th

The Voyageurs women's Nordic ski team competed at the OUA Championships in North Bay, ON, this past weekend and left town with a 7th place finish.

 

The Championship began with the 12km mass start classic race on Saturday.  Lydia Harris was the top Voyageur, crossing the line 22nd place, 12 minutes back of the winner.  She was followed by Olivia Wolfram, Katherine Grove and Marina Tusz, who finished 28th, 29th and 30th, respectively.

 

On Sunday, in the 7.5km free race, Harris once again led the Voyageurs with her 16th place finish.  Grove followed close behind in 21st, Tusz finished in 32nd and Wolfram finished in 36th.

 

The Championship wrapped up on Monday with the 3x3.75km free team relay.  The trio of Harris, Grove and Tusz crossed the line in 6th place, 6:46 behind the winners from Lakehead.

 

As a team the Voyageurs finished the Championship in 7th place.
