On Saturday, the Voyageurs rowing team headed to St. Catharines for their final tune-up before the OUA Championships.
Hayley Chase led the charge, grabbing gold in the women's single in a time of 7:52.62, seven minutes faster than the second place boat out of McGill and seventeen seconds ahead of the third place boat from McMaster.
Charles Alexander followed up Chase's golden row with a silver medal in the women's single, crossing the line in a time of 6:59.10, less than four seconds behind the winner from Queen's and six seconds ahead of the third place boat from McGill.
Alexander also paired up with Adam Arthurs in the men's double and the duo finished in 6th.
The teams now will prepare for the OUA Championships on Oct. 27th in St. Catharines.
