MSOC | Ravens Outclass Voyageurs

Following an unlucky 3-2 loss in their home opener, the Voyageurs continued a stretch of four straight home games against the Carleton Ravens this Saturday. Laurentian started well, but ultimately Carleton proved to be too much, winning 4-0.

Despite a couple early changes for the Voyageurs it was the Ravens who struck first. After a cross was deflected away by Laurentian goalie Nate Shull, Carelton's Mohammed Bouzidi was able to capitalize, as he slotted in his first goal of the season 23 minutes into the game. Just 14
minutes later the away side were at it again. This time Mohammed Bouzidi played creator as his through ball found Darren Bouaziz, who scored Carleton's second goal of the match. That would end the scoring in the first half.

Moving on to the second half, Carleton quickly put an end to any Vees comeback, as they found the back of the net just one minute after kickoff. Adam Ross was able to get behind the defence and swiftly tucked it home for his second goal of the season, and Carleton's third of the day. They tacked on another goal just 10 minutes later when Brady Curkovic got on the end of a Caden Tomy corner kick. From here the Ravens were on cruise control, claiming their third win of the season. For Laurentian, the day signaled a disappointing result, especially after they had tied Carleton in the nation's capital just two weeks earlier.

Tony Tagliaferro's men will need to turn the page quickly, as they host winless RMC on Sunday, aiming for their first win of the season.
